Dicken Read (Doctor of Chiropractic) MChiro DC MCC
Dicken’s first experience of chiropractic was during his school days, after a rugby accident left him with lower back pain. His great success with treatment then inspired him to study Chiropractic. He attained his Masters degree from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) after completing a 5-year course and was awarded the title of Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) following his registration year.
He joined Chelmsford Chiropractic Clinic in 2005, and became clinic Director in 2007. Dicken has developed a keen interest in a variety of fields including spinal rehabilitation, sports injuries and nutrition.
Dicken is qualified as an advanced proficiency rated Activator practitioner and has qualifications in dry-needling and manual manipulative techniques. Dicken is a member of the BCA, COC and registered with the GCC.
Dicken believes in a holistic approach, assessing individual life styles to reduce the liklihood of recurrence.
Caron Warner (Doctor of Chiropractic) BSc (Hons) DC
Caron was inspired to become a chiropractor after her own chronic low back pain had been alleviated within two weeks of chiropractic care. She was so impressed by the results that she decided to become a chiropractor herself.
Caron really enjoys helping people so that they are no longer troubled by back pain. She is also interested in women’s health, work-related/postural complaints and sports injuries.
She is a proficiency rated Activator Practitioner, which enables her to offer you the option of very specific low force adjusted technique or the manual manipulation you may have experienced previously. She also believes in introducing everyone to easy spinal exercises; her aim is not just to alleviate pain but to help prevent reoccurrence.
Milan Patel (Doctor of Chiropractic) MSc DC MCC
Milan graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2000 after completing a five-year Masters in Chiropractic and was awarded the title of Doctor of Chiropractic following her registration year.
She joined the Chelmsford Chiropractic Team in 2005 after gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings around the country. Milan has completed many hours of postgraduate training in a variety of techniques and treatment approaches. This has enabled her to adopt an integrated approach to treat each patient individually and holistically, improving their overall health and reducing their symptoms.
Her postgraduate studies have also focused on paediatric chiropractic care and chiropractic care of pregnant women, areas in which Milan has a strong interest.
Paul Butler (Sports Massage Therapist) Dip SMRT, NLSSM
Having trained and worked as a professional dancer Paul has always had a keen interest and association with fitness, sport and exercise. Through regular Sports Massage Paul has maintained a healthy mind and body and managed his injuries from his dance career.
When the opportunity arose Paul decided to retrain as a Sports Massage Therapist and he now teaches dance and Sports Massage locally. He left a London dance college, where he had been treating professional dancers in June 2011 to join the Chelmsford Chiropractic Clinic. He is a keen runner and is interested in injury prevention, rehabilitation and general well being and good health.
Samantha Wilkinson (Sports Massage Therapist) NLSSM Dip Premier Dip APNT Dip
Samantha became interested in sports massage therapy after a long successful career as a professional dancer. Her first qualification was with the Massage Training Institute in 1996. On leaving her dance career she gained her Diploma with Premier Training International in 2003, obtained her Well Mother, Association of physical and Natural Therapy Pregnancy Massage Diploma in 2005. Samantha then went on to completed her Diploma with North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) level 5 in 2009.
Samantha has experience working with professional dancers and as a therapist during the London marathon. She left a London based Chiropractic Clinic to join the Chelmsford Chiropractic Clinic in March 2009.
